As the illustrious Coventry Business Excellence Awards draw ever closer a brand new sponsor for the event has just been announced. As one of the most important dates on the regional business calendar, a plethora of businesses are keen to partner with such a pivotal occasion, including Cloud Central.
As a highly skilled team of specialists who are dedicated to solving and building all manner of IT enquiries and services, they have over 25 years’ experience in the field with experience that spans a multitude of sectors.
Andy McDougall, Managing Director at Cloud Central, elaborated on why the awards are so important to the company: “we want to celebrate the success of local businesses and raise awareness and enjoy seeing hard work and talent being recognised and rewarded.”
These are not the first awards that the company have sponsored, as McDougall explained “we sponsor multiple business events throughout the year in order to celebrate and strengthen our ties to other enterprises nearby.”
Overall, it is a busy year generally for Cloud Central, with McDougall overviewing proposed plans for the following months:
“We have seen over the last 12 months how cyber security can affect every business. A serious attack has the capacity to take a business down and they may never recover. With our expertise, we want to work with new businesses to protect, train and secure their workforce to ensure continued success”.
The awards themselves will take place on 19 September at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena. Celebrating the achievements of local business, charities and other organisations, awards will be given across 15 categories acknowledging those that have made an outstanding contribution over the past year.
